Noel's Dive Blog

It was put on by the Alberta Underwater Council.   The weather was beautiful. Between Leianne Shawn and I we pulled up alot of fishing line, some lures, an urn (which appears to be for a pet), a cob of corn and some bottles. Some of the other divers pulled up a full BBQ. One diver found a uncracked bottle of beer and then he proceeded to open it and drink it. It was the funniest but most discusting thing. The beer was a dark brown and had floaties in it.  The worst part of the day was having my camera flood on me. Still not sure what happend. I was able to snap a few pictues on the surface but nothing underwater. None the less it was a great time. While i didn’t win the regs that they raffled off I did win a copy of this years divers almanac.   Looking forward to this weekends Lake Clean up at Lake Chapparal.

It was put on by The Dive Shop as part of Project Aware.  There were several fishing rods pulled out of the lake along with, 7 condoms, some underwear, lots of plastic, fireworks, pucks, golfballs and a cell phone.

We won an inflatable dive kayak from Bare and someone found a blackberry.
